A jam summit took place at the 4848 Festival on Saturday when Umphrey’s McGee teamed with guitarist Billy Strings as well as Greensky Bluegrass‘ mandolinist Paul Hoffman and dobro player Anders Beck. The collaboration came on an expansive “Nothing Too Fancy” during UM’s set at the event, which was held at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia. Fan-shot video of “Nothing Too Fancy” has surfaced.

The 17+ minute “N2F” featured each of the guests not only taking solos but collaborating on multiple jams that took place during the composed sections of the song. Billy, Anders and Paul seemed well versed on “Nothing Too Fancy,” which made for a memorable moment at the inaugural 4848 Festival. Hoffman and Beck led the way through portions of the first section before Billy tore it up on acoustic.
