Umphrey’s McGee Announces New Year’s Eve Run 2023 With lespecial & Guests

Umphrey’s McGee will conclude their 25th Anniversary celebration with a hometown New Year’s Run at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre. The three-night stand is slated for December 29 – 31.

lespecial will open on both December 29 and 30. Umphrey’s McGee will be joined by Mad Dog’s Filthy Little Secret Horns featuring Jeff Coffin on New Year’s Eve. Additional special guests for the three-set affair on December 31 will be announced soon.

Umphrey’s McGee celebrated New Year's Eve in Chicago each year from 2000 through 2010. The sextet returned to their hometown to end 2016, Umphrey’s most recent NYE Run in Chicago.

Tickets go on sale to the general public starting on Friday, August 25 at 10 a.m. CT. Both umVIP packages and a limited number of three-day passes will be available tomorrow, Wednesday, August 23 at 10 a.m. CT.
