Umphrey’s McGee are touring in support of their recently issued studio album it’s not us. The band shared a lyric video for the album track “You & You Alone,” commentary regarding the LP cut “Dark Brush” and announced additional webcasts for a trio of upcoming shows.

Penned by Brendan Bayliss, bonus footage from the band’s album release party at Chicago’s Park West on January 14 included in the video describes the guitarist’s inspiration for the heartfelt tune. The song was played last December by Bayliss and Jake Cinninger at their holiday show, which was also held at Park West. Cinninger is featured at his Boondock Studios in the newest installment of The Boondock Sessions in which he provides commentary regarding the songs on it’s not us. The latest video finds Jaco at his Niles, Michigan facility detailing the construction of “Dark Brush.”

UM will webcast their next three shows, beginning tomorrow night at Express Live! in Columbus, Ohio. Their pair of concerts at Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan on Friday, February 2 and on Saturday, February 3 will also be webcast live. Head over to TourGigs for details.
