Umphrey’s McGee Honors Eddie Money In Charlottesville

Umphrey’s McGee hit Sprint Pavilion in Charlotteville, Virginia on Friday night. The band busted out “Two Tickets To Paradise” for the first time in more than two years in honor of Eddie Money who died last week.

Umph got things going with “Triangle Tear” ahead of “Tripple Wide” which then led into a “Nemo” sandwich with “Kimble” in the middle. The band continued with “1348,” “Xmas at Wartime” (first time played since New Year’s 2018), “Cemetery Walk” and “Cemetery Walk II.” Umphrey’s closed out the first frame with “Believe The Lie.”

UM kicked off the second set with “All In Time” which segued into “Booth Love.” The band then offered up another sandwich with “Divisions” into “Much Obliged” and back into “Divisions.” “Glory” and “Bad Friday” followed ahead of “Two Tickets To Paradise,” which was last played on April 28, 2017. Umph bookended the second set with a return to “All In Time.”

The band retook the stage for a two-song encore of “Resolutions” and a reprise of “Divisions” to close out the evening. Check out a clip of “Two Tickets To Paradise” captured by manchild11519 below:
