Umphrey’s McGee Sets Cruising Altitude 2025 Tour Dates

Umphrey’s McGee has announced an extensive winter tour for 2025 dubbed the Cruising Altitude Tour. The improv-rock band will embark on a 30-date journey across the United States, kicking off in January and stretching through March.

The tour begins on January 16 in Athens, Georgia at the Georgia Theatre. From there, Umphrey’s McGee will make their way through the Southeast with stops in Saxapahaw (North Carolina) on January 17, Charles Town (West Virginia) on January 18, Roanoke (Virginia) on January 19, and Charlottesville (Virginia) on January 22.

The band continues their trek with shows in Wilmington (Delaware) on January 23, Jim Thorpe (Pennsylvania) on January 24, Atlantic City (New Jersey) on January 25 and Stroudsburg (Pennsylvania) on January 30. The group will perform in Port Chester (New York) for two nights on January 31 and February 1, followed by dates in Huntington (New York) on February 2, Columbia (South Carolina) on February 26, Birmingham (Alabama) on February 27, and Chattanooga (Tennessee) on February 28.

March brings Umphrey’s McGee to Savannah (Georgia) on March 1, Knoxville (Tennessee) on March 5, Louisville (Kentucky) on March 6. Heading to the place the band formed in 1998, UM plays in South Bend (Indiana) on March 7. After a show in Milwaukee on March 8, the tour then heads west to Montana for performances in Bozeman on March 12 and Great Falls on March 13. Spokane, Washington on March 14 is the tour’s next stop. It’s then on to Boise on March 15.

The final leg of the Cruising Altitude Tour includes a show in Stateline (Nevada) on March 17, followed by a California run consisting of Petaluma on March 18, Sacramento on March 19, San Diego on March 20, and a two-night stand in Santa Ana on March 21 and 22.

General on-sales for the Cruising Altitude Tour dates start on Friday, September 27 at 10 a.m. local time. An Umphrey’s ticketing presale begins on on Wednesday, September 25 at 10 a.m. local time.
