Umphrey’s McGee Announces Plans For December 30

When JamBase favorites Umphrey’s McGee announced that this year’s New Year’s run would take place at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium, there was one date missing -December 30. UM scheduled their performances for December 28, 29 and 31; with a notable gap on the 30th. Today, the band has revealed their plan for that evening.

On December 30, Umphrey’s will play an intimate show at a venue in Denver to be revealed soon for a concert dubbed “Bill GrahUM Monday.” The band will sell only 350 tickets for $200 each, which in addition to the concert entitles attendees to four hours of an open bar, a setlist that will be voted on by ticket holders, a die-cast pin commemorating the event, an MP3 download of the show and a beer koozie.

UM has decided to donate $15.00 from each ticket sold to assist with relief efforts stemming from the recent flooding that has effected many Colorado communities.

Here’s ticketing details:

Tickets will go on sale the week of September 30th, and will be available via three different channels. We will be offering tickets through a general public on-sale, direct to previous Bill Graham show attendees/UM Monday patrons, and to those participating in the 2013 Colorado NYE umVIP packages. Any tickets not purchased by umVIPs will revert to the general public allotment; date to be announced. Additional details and links to be shared shortly.
