Umphrey’s McGee will return to the familiar setting of The Tabernacle in Atlanta for their 2025 New Year’s Eve run. The band will ring in 2026 with two shows featuring special guests Mad Dog’s Filthy Little Secret Horns with Jeff Coffin.

UM will begin the festivities with a show on December 30. They will then spend another New Year’s Eve at The Tabernacle. Umphrey’s held their first New Year’s Eve run at the Tabernacle in 2012, and followed with subsequent year-end shows in 2014 and 2018.

The upcoming shows will be Umphrey’s McGee’s first New Year’s Eve Run with drummer Scotty Zwang, who was recently invited to join the band as a full-time member. Zwang took over behind the kit earlier this year after the departure of longtime drummer Kris Myers.

Umphrey’s McGee will issue a new album entitled Blueprints on September 12. The six-song LP was recorded last December at The Top Note, a theater/studio located atop the Metro in Chicago.

Tickets to UM’s 2025 NYE Run at the Tab in ATL go on sale on Friday, August 22 at 10 a.m. ET. umVIP packages will go on sale Wednesday, August 20 at 10 a.m. ET.
