Tyler Ballgame Performs For WFUV & Releases Title Track From New Album ‘For The First Time, Again’

Tyler Ballgame clocked a session for New York City public radio WFUV. The singer performed songs from his debut album, For the First Time, Again, due out on January 30 via Rough Trade and recently previewed the forthcoming LP with the title track.
Ballgame’s WFUV session, which took place at NYC’s storied The Bitter End, included the For the First Time, Again cuts “Matter Of Taste” and “I Believe In Love.” He also offered “Let You Down.”

The final advance single ahead of the release of For the First Time, Again arrived this week in the form of the title track. Ballgame spoke about the song:
“‘For The First Time, Again’ is a song about the perennial nature of love. Not only romantic love, but the love of friends and family that wraps us and forms us and sets us loose on the world. I believe that whenever we lose love, we are never far from its hand. It’s only waiting to be found again in a new form or in a new face.”
