Two Phish Fall Tour 2016 Stops Revealed
In what has become a pre-tour announcement tradition, stops on an upcoming Phish tour have been revealed by listings appearing on Ticketmaster and Live Nation websites. As per listings currently on LiveNation.com, the foursome will make their Jacksonville debut this October and will also return to Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.
If the information from the listing proves true Phish will play the 15,000-capacity Jacksonville Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida on October 16. Then, according to listings on Live Nation for VIP Parking passes for attendees, the tour will hit Nashville for two shows at the recently opened Ascend Amphitheater on October 18 and 19. Phish played the venue last summer, delivering a memorable show that included the return of the second jam in “Mike’s Song” as detailed in last week’s JamBase list.
Tickets for the Jacksonville show are expected to go on sale to the general public on Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m. ET while tickets (or at least VIP parking passes) for Nashville go up for grabs Thursday, August 18 at 10 a.m. CT. If past procedure holds true, expect a lottery-based pre-sale to be announced at the same time as the tour. Stay tuned and remember no show is truly confirmed until a formal announcement from the band.
