Turkuaz Performs For ‘Jam In The Van’

Turkuaz performed a live session for Jam In The Van at the mobile recording studio’s Los Angeles headquarters. The nine-piece funk and soul ensemble showcased a pair of tunes from their 2018 LP Life In The City along with a cover from The Band.

The Brooklyn-based band, who previously recorded a session at the High Sierra Music Festival in 2014, delivered takes on “The One And Lonely” and “If I Ever Fall Asleep” from their most recent studio effort that was produced by Talking Heads keyboardist Jerry Harrison. Turkuaz also offered a cover of The Band’s “The Shape I’m In” from the iconic act’s 1970 release Stage Fright. Watch Turkuaz perform for Jam In The Van below:
