From New Orleans To The East Coast: Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue Detail 2024 Fall Tour Dates

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue announced a batch of fall tour dates focusing on the East Coast. The New Orleans-based ensemble are currently slated to start the trek with a leg running from September 28 through October 6 and then return to the road between November 12 and 23.

The autumn excursion follows the band’s summer tour with Big Boi that started last week. Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews and company will also make a series of festival appearances in Europe at the end of this month and beginning of next month and open for Dave Matthews Band at The Gorge in Washington state on Friday, August 30.


Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue open their fall tour with a set at Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Franklin, Tennessee on September 28. Next up are stops in Lexington (Kentucky) on September 30, Birmingham (Alabama) on October 2, Pensacola (Florida) on October 4, Atlanta on October 5 and Tampa on October 6.

The tour resumes on November 12 at Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut. Additional November dates follow in Atlantic City on November 15, Huntington (New York) on November 19, Englewood (New Jersey) on November 20, New Brunswick (New Jersey) on November 21, Bethlehem (Pennsylvania) on November 22 and Providence on November 23.

General on-sales begin this Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m. local time.


Trombone Shorty was the guest of Louis Cato and the Late Show Band on Monday. The trombonist sat-in with the ensemble at the Ed Sullivan Theater for the taping of Monday’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
