Trombone Shorty Performs ‘Lifted’ On ‘Colbert’

Watch the trombonist perform the title track from his new album.

Trombone Shorty stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to perform “Lifted” on Tuesday’s episode. The New Orleans-based trombonist was joined by his full band for the title track from his recently released studio album.

Lifted is the artist born Troy Andrews first new album in five years. The long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s Parking Lot Symphony was produced by Chris Seefried and recorded at Shorty’s NOLA-based Buckjump Studios. Contributors include Gary Clark Jr., the New Breed Brass Band and Lauren Daigle.
