Tour Dates | American Babies Kick Off Extensive Tour Tonight

This evening roots rockers American Babies kick off their first full tour with former The Slip bassist Marc Friedman holding down the bottom end at Union Transfer in the band’s hometown of Philadelphia. American Babies’s extensive coast-to-coast jaunt begins and ends in Philadelphia as the tour is currently set to come to a close on April 19 at Philly’s Underground Arts.

Tom Hamilton and Co.’s 32-date run includes a visit to Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads, a five-show swing through Colorado and a stretch of shows with TL3 featuring members of Tea Leaf Green. Railroad Earth are also on board for tonight and tomorrow’s shows in Philadelphia. The band is touring in support of Knives & Teeth, which came out last fall. They will release a new EP, dubbed Stark & Red on April 1. The seven track EP contains stripped-down, acoustic versions of five songs released on previous albums and two reworked, acoustic renderings from Knives & Teeth.
