Tool Debuts New Songs At Welcome To Rockville

Tool debuted two new songs during their set Sunday at the Welcome To Rockville music festival in Jacksonville, Florida. Tool’s setlist included the first live performances of “Invincible” and an arrangement of the previously played instrumental “Descending” with newly added lyrics.

Though frontman Maynard James Keenan last year stated new Tool music would be coming out in 2019, no details have been announced about what would be the long-awaited follow-up to their 2006 album 10,000 Days. Tool’s tweet last week indicated new material would be part of their current tour. The newly revamped “Descending” was the first to be debuted, with “Invincible” coming one song later in the middle of the set. Watch audience-shot video of the debuts below:
