Tom Petty’s Mudcrutch Shares New Single ‘Beautiful World’

Tom Petty’s reunited pre-The Heartbreakers band Mudcrutch has a new album 2 and extensive tour scheduled in support planned for later this year. Today, the group shared another single from the upcoming LP being released on Reprise Records on May 20, entitled “Beautiful World.”

Mudcrutch members Mike Campbell and Petty along with Ryan Ulyateproduced 2 which features 11 new tracks. The band begins their first national tour in support of the record at Denver’s Ogden Theater on May 26 with a number of additional appearances planned across the U.S. throughout May and June. On Saturday, Mudcrutch will issue a special Record Store Day 7-inch vinyl single featuring the previously shared first single “Trailer” backed by the Randall Marsh-penned second single, “Beautiful World.”
