Beck, Brandi Carlile, Heartbreakers & More Aboard For ‘Tom Petty’s 70th Birthday Bash’ Livestream Special

An impressive array of artists including Beck, Brandi Carlile and Heartbreakers’ Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench will contribute to the Tom Petty’s 70th Birthday Bash five-hour virtual concert. The tribute to the late Tom Petty, who would have turned 70 yesterday if not for his tragic death in 2017, airs Friday, October 23 on SiriusXM’s Tom Petty Radio from 4:30 – 7 p.m. ET and then on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar via Amazon Music’s Twitch from 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. ET. SiriusXM will simulcast the portion broadcast on Twitch.
Look for Tom Petty’s 70th Birthday Bash to include performances, remembrances and tributes to the legendary artist. The first half of the special, airing exclusively on Tom Petty Radio, will feature Jason Isbell, The Raconteurs, Kurt Vile, Grace Potter, Starcrawler with Campbell, Larkin Poe with Heartbreakers drummer Steve Ferrone and more.

Campbell and Tench will present a special performance together as part of the second half of the festivities. Beck, Carlile, Foo Fighters, Amos Lee, Stephen Stills, Patterson Hood, Margo Price, The Flaming Lips, Lucinda Williams, Gary Clark Jr. and Jackson Browne also are set to appear in the portion broacast on Twitch and simulcast on SiriusXM. Special guests include Eddie Vedder, Olivia Harrison, Post Malone, Jakob Dylan and Stevie Nicks.
