Tom Marshall Shares Second Part Of Holly Bowling’s Appearance On ‘Under The Scales’
By Scott Bernstein May 1, 2017 • 7:38 am PDT

Pianist Holly Bowling was the latest guest to appear on Phish lyricist Tom Marshall’s Under The Scales podcast. While the first part of Bowling’s appearance was posted last month, the second and final part was unveiled today.
Holly talks about how she “crashed” Marco Benevento’s show and how she hopes to be part of a band one day. Marshall and Bowling then discuss how the pianist started adding Grateful Dead interpretations to her mix following Holly’s contribution to our Songs Of Their Own series. Towards the end of the episode, Holly plays a few songs on Tom’s piano including a “jamscription” of Phish’s Eureka ’92 “Tweezer.” All told, the episode spans 43 minutes and is well worth a listen.
