By Andy Kahn Nov 30, 2016 11:00 am PST

On Sunday, The Chapel in San Francisco held an all-star tribute concert for the late great Leonard Cohen. Among the performances at Songs Of Love And Hate: A San Francisco Tribute To Leonard Cohen was guitarist Tim Bluhm of The Mother Hips.

Bluhm’s contribution to the show included a solo rendition of “One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong” and an arrangement of “Suzanne” accompanied by Tim Cohen of The Fresh and Onlys. Other highlights included Sun Kil Moon’s Mark Kozelek singing lead on “Famous Blue Raincoat,” Christopher Owens performing “Paper Thin Hotel” and San Francisco’s 30 member male choir Conspiracy Of Beards taking on “Dance Me To The End Of Love” with the help of Sean Hayes.

The event was organized by (((folkYEAH!))) founder Britt Govea and Leonard Cohen confidant and biographer Sylvie Simmons. Proceeds from Songs of Love and Hate: A San Francisco Tribute To Leonard Cohen benefited the San Francisco Community Music Center. Watch audience-shot highlights of the event below:
