Throwback | Weir & Russo Guest With Levon Helm At Vibes 2011

While Levon’s voice was not in good shape, the many singers within his band -including his pregnant (at the time) daughter Amy -helped cover some of the legendary The Band drummer’s vocal parts. Russo and Cashdollar came out for a rendition of “Evangeline” that saw Levon play mandolin. Then, Weir emerged to join the Levon Helm Band, Russo and Cashdollar on “Deep Elem Blues.” Watch pro-shot footage of “Deep Elem”:
Bobby then stuck around for a tender rendition of “Attics Of My Life” featuring Larry Campbell, Amy Helm and Teresa Williams. Here’s fan-shot footage of “Attics”:
