Throwback Thursday | Neil Young & Pearl Jam Video Highlights

Last week the lineup for this year’s Bridge School benefit concerts was announced and the two names a top the bill are Pearl Jam and Neil Young. Neil and Pearl Jam have collaborated a number of times over the years, most prominently on a 1995 studio album, Mirror Ball, and an 11-date, Vedder-less European tour in August 1995.

We’re hoping Pearl Jam and Young perform together at the Bridge School benefits on October 25 and 26 as we’ve really enjoyed their past performances. We’ve compiled a handful of those “Neil Jam” performances for your viewing pleasure:

Pearl Jam and Neil Young stole the show at the 1993 MTV Video Music Awards with their powerful version of “Rockin’ In The Free World”:

Full show video of “Neil Jam’s” 1995 tour is few and far between as an official document of the run has never been released. There is however this fan-shot clip featuring Neil and Pearl Jam’s entire August 18, 1995 performance from Salzburg, Austria:

Neil Young joined Pearl Jam to perform his song “Walk With Me” at the 2010 Bridge School benefit on Saturday, October 23. Check out pro-shot footage of the tune:
