Yesterday Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour announced his first tour in nine years in support of the upcoming release of his new solo yet-to-be-titled album. Gilmour last toured in 2006 when he brought late Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright out to support his last solo album, On An Island. Gilmour was also joined by Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera, bassist Guy Pratt, drummer Steve DiStanislao, keyboardist Jon Carin and saxophonist and Floyd collaborator Dick Parry on a tour across Europe and the United States, playing a handful of classic Pink Floyd songs alongside a complete replaying of On An Island each night.
As Gilmour gears up to release a new album and get back out on the road, here are few clips Pink Floyd songs that made the setlist from the 2006.
