Throwback Thursday | Blazing PhilRAD Scarlet Fire

This past New Year’s Eve, The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York hosted Phil Lesh’s first East Coast NYE performance since 1969. Lesh ended the year at The Cap with three PhilRAD shows featuring Phil with Tom Hamilton, Scott Metzger, Joe Russo and Marco Benevento of Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.

PhilRad ended the second set and 2014 with a blazing “Scarlet Begonias” > “Fire On The Mountain” that extended beyond the 20-minute mark. Professionally-shot footage of the sequence has been posted on The Cap’s Vimeo channel for our enjoyment. Check it out:
