The War & Treaty Share Scorching ‘Called You By Your Name’ Single

The War and Treaty released a new single, “Called You By Your Name.” The new song is the third single in 2024 from husband and wife duo Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter.

It’s been a big year already for The War and Treaty. The duo recently clocked their first Grammy nominations for Best American Roots Song for “Blank Page” and Best New Artist. The Trotters have also received nods from the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and CMT Music Awards. Billboard named the duo its 2024 Country Power Players Groundbreaker.

Following the arrival of their 2023 Dave Cobb-produced album, Lover’s Game, The War and Treaty have released new music in 2024 including singles “Stealing a Kiss” and “Leads Me Home.”

The War and Treaty showcase their signature gospel-country sound on latest single, “Called You By Your Name.” The song starts out with Tanya’s soaring vocal before it kicks into a double time barn-burner. Listen below.
