Rooster Walk 17 Reveals Initial 2027 Lineup With Daniel Donato, Andy Frasco & More

Rooster Walk 17 will bring Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country and Andy Frasco & The U.N. back to Pop’s Farm in Martinsville, Virginia over Memorial Day weekend. The festival unveiled its initial lineup for May 27 – 30, 2027, with Keller & The Keels, Saxsquatch and Trey Hensley Band also among the first acts confirmed.

Three of Rooster Walk’s six highest-billed acts, including its top headliner, remain under wraps. Organizers expect the completed lineup to feature approximately 45 artists playing around 100 sets across six stages.

Donato’s Cosmic Country will return for a sixth consecutive year, while Frasco & The U.N. will make their third Rooster Walk appearance and first since 2025.

“Our fans play a huge role in shaping the Rooster Walk lineup, and Daniel Donato and Andy Frasco were two of the most requested artists in this year’s fan survey,” said Johnny Buck, executive director of Rooster Walk Inc. “Our fans made it clear they wanted both bands back at Pop’s Farm, and we’re thrilled to make that happen.”

Dizgo, Kanika Moore Band, Bella Rayne Band, Wolph, Sol Driven Train and 65 North Pickers are also set to perform. The first wave additionally includes Moga Family Band, Ettore Buzzini, Empire Strikes Brass, Phat Laces, Griffin, Big Fat Gap and DJ What, along with magician Hunter Rhodes.

The family-friendly festival offers camping, outdoor activities and children’s programming alongside the music. Founded in memory of Martinsville natives Edwin “The Rooster” Penn and Walker Shank, Rooster Walk supports local causes through its nonprofit organization, which has donated more than $400,000 since 2009.
