The String Cheese Incident Performs ‘The Big Reveal’ At Red Rocks: Pro-Shot Video

One of the latest singles shared by The String Cheese Incident from their Sound Lab facility was “The Big Reveal.” Keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth penned the song with bassist Keith Moseley about transformative live music experiences he had at Grateful Dead shows. SCI shared professionally-shot footage featuring a live version of “The Big Reveal” performed at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado on July 21.
“[‘The Big Reveal’] speaks of being young and finding how music can transform and expand your consciousness, allowing you to find your place in a bigger community,” Hollingsworth said when the single was released. “For me, some of those early Dead shows were my ‘ah ha’ moment. And to some degree lead me to become a musician.” Fittingly, live versions of “The Big Reveal” have featured Dead-esque jams. Watch SCI’s performance of “The Big Reveal” from July 21 below:
