The Revivalists Perform ‘Criminal’ For ‘Austin City Limits’: Exclusive Premiere
This weekend’s installment of Austin City Limits features The Revivalists and Patty Griffin. JamBase is pleased to preview the episode by premiering web exclusive video of The Revivalists’ “Criminal.”
Austin’s own Patty Griffin starts the episode with a five-song set focusing on material from her self-titled 2019 studio album. Then, The Revivalists make their debut on the long-running live music television show as part of Austin City Limits’ Season 45. The episode is scheduled to air this Saturday, November 2 at 8 p.m. CT/9 p.m. ET on PBS (head here to check local listings).
The Revivalists perform their hit “Wish I Knew You” and five songs from 2018’s Take Good Care during their appearance on the broadcast. “The Revivalists won me over the day I saw them play at New Orleans’ Jazzfest,” said ACL executive producer Terry Lickona. “They may not have that typical New Orleans sound that comes to mind, but they have the grit, the funk, and the spice to create their own special kind of musical gumbo.” Watch a web exclusive performance of “Criminal” off 2012’s City Of Sound from The Revivalists’ ACL set below:
