The Mother Hips Jam In The Van

The Mother Hips recently delivered a Jam In The Van session when the traveling live video series stopped through San Jose, California in November 2022. The Bay Area band offered an original and a cover appearing on their new album, When We Disappear, as well as a cut off their 2021 LP.

The Mother Hips — led by guitarists Tim Bluhm and Greg Loiacono — kicked off their Jam In The Van session with “Sunset Blues,” off their 2021 album, Glowing Lantern. The band then turned to material from When We Disappear beginning with a cover of Buffy Sainte-Marie’s “Codine,” which they included on the record. Mother Hips close the session with “When We Disappear.”
