The Format appeared as musical guests on last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live episode. The band performed the song “Depressed” from their album, Boycott Heaven.
Released last week, Boycott Heaven is The Format’s first album in 20 years. Co-founders Nate Ruess and Sam Means released The Format’s debut album Interventions + Lullabies in 2003 and its follow-up, Dog Problems, in 2006. A subsequent hiatus lasted until a 2020 reunion.
