The Disco Biscuits Announce Special Sets For New Year’s Run

Earlier this century, The Disco Biscuits played a pair of shows in which fans were invited up to spin a wheel filled with the band’s songs to help determine that evening’s setlist. The Philly quartet will reprise the special “Spin The Wheel” set at one of their upcoming New Year’s Run shows at PlayStation Theater in New York City December 30 – January 2.

The band has also announced they will be joined by the Philly Stray Horns for a set during the NYE Run. Another special set will feature a setlist picked by fans. You can expect one special set at each of the four shows and another containing what’s dubbed as “no bullshit, unadulterated, balls to the wall trance-fusion.” The Disco Biscuits haven’t revealed just when the special sets will take place other than sometime during the run.

All four tDB New Year’s Run show will include late night sets and will feature an opener. Horizon Wireless will kick off the festivities on the 30th, Consider The Source are aboard as support on New Year’s Eve, Animus Rexx opens on New Year’s Day and Soul Clap begin the action on January 2.
