The Decemberists laid out their 2022 Summer Tour dates. Hitting the road for the first time since 2018, the Portland, Oregon-based band will play 16 concerts in August over the course of their Arise From The Bunkers Tour featuring support from Brigid Mae Power.

“We’ll be applying our rusty fingers, feet, and vocal cords to songs from all across the width and breadth of our catalogue — and, should the muses oblige, we might try a few new ones out as well,” noted The Decemberists in announcing the tour. While the band was set to embark on a 20th Anniversary Tour in 2020, the run was postponed and then canceled due to the pandemic. The Decemberists did honor the occasion last April with three livestream concerts.

The 2022 tour begins at Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Bonner, Montana on August 3. Next comes a trip down the West Coast that includes stops in Redmond, Oregon; Troutdale, Oregon and Los Angeles. The Decemberists then hit Denver before a Midwest run featuring concerts in Kansas City, Minneapolis and Chicago. A quick strike into Canada follows for a show in Toronto on August 19.

The Decemberists head to the Northeast next for concerts in Lafayette (New York), Boston, New York City, Vienna (Virginia) and Philadelphia. Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium hosts the band on August 27 before the tour is currently scheduled to conclude at The Tabernacle in Atlanta on August 28.
