‘The Bear’ Star Jeremy Allen White Reportedly Frontrunner To Play Bruce Springsteen In ‘Nebraska’ Film
It appears the actor will go from “The Bear” to The Boss.

Jeremy Allen White, star of the hit Hulu series The Bear, is apparently the frontrunner to play Bruce Springsteen in a film in the works on the creation of Springsteen’s 1982 album Nebraska, as Deadline reported.
Adapted from Warren Zanes’ 2023 biography, Deliver Me From Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska, the film is titled Deliver Me From Nowhere with Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart) handling writing and directing duties. Producer Scott Stuber is reportedly in contact with A24 to make the film. Jeremy Allen White recently starred in A24’s The Iron Claw and is currently in Chicago filming seasons three and four of The Bear.

Bruce Springsteen and his manager Jon Landau appear to be involved in the project around Springsteen’s stark 1982 solo album Nebraska, although thier involvement has not been officially confirmed. According to the report, production is scheduled to begin in Springsteen’s home state of New Jersey later this year.
