The B-52s Perform ‘Love Shack’ On ‘Kimmel’

The B-52’s appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The famed new wave band from Athens, Georgia, who just announced a farewell tour, performed their classic hit “Love Shack” on the late night television program.

The B-52s released the Don Was-produced “Love Shack” as a single on June 20, 1989. The track appeared on the group’s album Cosmic Thing which arrived a week later. “Love Shack” would go on to become a radio mainstay as well as a live staple for the band. The B-52s’ Kate Pierson, Cindy Wilson and Fred Schneider delivered their signature song most recently for the Jimmy Kimmel audience.
