The B-52s Plot Farewell Tour
K.C. & The Sunshine Band and The Tubes will each open on select dates of the tour.

The B-52’s will soon embark on a farewell tour of North America. The run currently includes one performance this summer and 14 tour dates this fall with more shows to be confirmed soon. Tickets for the “World’s Greatest Party Band’s” final jaunt go on sale to the general public this Friday, April 29 at 12 p.m. ET following a presale on Wednesday, April 27 at 12 p.m. ET. Formed in Athens, Georgia in 1976, The B-52s sold over 20 million albums worldwide thanks to such hits as “Rock Lobster,” “Love Shack,” “Private Idaho” and “Roam.” Co-founding members Kate Pierson, Cindy Wilson and Fred Schneider are still part of the band. The Tubes and will each open select dates.

The B-52s will perform in Seattle on August 22 and then are slated to kick off the main leg in Mashantucket, Connecticut on September 29. Next come stops in Boston on September 30, Washington D.C. on October 1 and Chicago on October 7 ahead of a two-night stand in New York City on October 13 and 14.
On October 15, The B-52s will play Atlantic City before heading to Las Vegas for concerts on October 19, 21 and 22. From there, the band travels to California for shows in San Francisco on October 28 and 29 and Los Angeles on November 4. The farewell tour is currently set to conclude with a home state gig at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre on November 11. See the current itinerary below:
