The Avett Brothers Announce Summer Tour

North Carolina-based The Avett Brothers have announced a new batch of dates as part of their upcoming Summer Tour. The newly added run of shows includes a three-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver.

The just-confirmed dates come after The Avett Brothers head out for a tour this spring which includes multi-night stands in Chicago in April and in Baltimore in June. After a previously announced performance on June 11 at Target Center in Minneapolis, the band will pick back up in Deadwood, South Dakota at the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center on June 14. They will head to Dallas for a gig at Gexa Energy Pavilion, followed by a night in Austin, Texas at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater on June 19.

After a break, they pick back up at the Forecastle, Festival in Louisville, Kentucky the weekend of July 15 – 17 ahead of a stop for two nights at Edgefield in Portland, Oregon which will be followed by one night in Kent, Washington at Showare Arena on July 23. They’ll hit up Nampa, Idaho’s Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater on July 25 before the aforementioned three-nights at Red Rocks on July 28 – 30. Supporting the band at Red Rocks will be Nahko and Medicine for the People the first night, Gary Clark Jr. the second evening and J Mascis for the finale. Tickets can be purchased via this link.
