The Arcs Open ‘Eyez’ With Latest Single

The Dan Auerbach-led group will release a new album, Electrophonic Chronic, in January.

The Arcs issued the track “Eyez” from their upcoming album, Electrophonic Chronic. The band led by The Black Keys’ guitarist Dan Auerbach will release the LP on January 27 through Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound label.

The pending album is The Arcs’ – whose original lineup included Auerbach, Richard Swift, Leon Michels, Nick Movshon and Homer Steinweiss – first since their 2015 debut, Yours, Dreamily. The Arcs recorded Electrophonic Chronic prior to Swift’s untimely death in 2018. In a statement shared by Auerbach, he addressed the situation with Swift, who can be heard on Electrophonic Chronic, stating:

“There’s a lot of mystery to most people. You can work with someone for years and there will be things about them that you never know. Everyone has parts of their story they might not want written.”
