Terrapin Crossroads To Host Celebration Of Watkins Glen Summer Jam

On July 28, 1973 one of the biggest audiences in the history of rock assembled at Watkins Glen Grand Prix Raceway in Watkins Glen, New York for a concert dubbed Summer Jam featuring performances from the Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band and The Band. On September 17, Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California will host a day of music on the water in honor of Summer Jam.
The Terrapin Crossroads tribute to Summer Jam will feature performances from Phil Lesh & Friends featuring Phil along with Stu Allen, Grahame Lesh, Scott Guberman, Ezra Lipp, Alex Koford, Scott Law and “special guests” as well as Brothers & Sisters and Terrapin Family Band. Tickets are on sale now via the venue’s online store.
The first 400 to purchase tickets will gain access to a free show that will be held in the Grate Room the night before, which will feature Phil Lesh & Friends performing the famous Grateful Dead “Watkins Glen Soundcheck.”
