Tedeschi Trucks Band Announces ‘Fireside Sessions’ Livestream Series

Members of the Tedeschi Trucks Band will star in “Fireside Sessions,” a series of six livestream specials hosted by Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks. “Fireside Sessions” launches on Thursday, February 18 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT via nugs.tv with new episodes to follow every Thursday.

Susan Tedeschi teased the series in a recent interview. The group will perform in various formations during the newly-filmed home performances ranging from Derek and Susan as a duo to four, six and eight-member lineups. Look for “Fireside Sessions” to feature “unique arrangements on TTB’s song catalog, including some deeper cuts not often performed live.” Today’s announcement also includes word the TTB will unveil “several new songs they have been working on during their time off the road.”

“It’s good to play again!” said Tedeschi of the group’s first performances since the pandemic began. “It’s been months since we had a gig and it feels really great to be back. We hope everyone enjoys this and thanks for watching and listening.”

“We want to thank everybody for supporting the band and crew and all the charities we’ve been supporting on this break,” added Trucks. “It’s helping to keep this train on the tracks, so thanks for being there, it means a lot to everybody.”

All six episodes were filmed in 4K high-definition video by 7Cinematics. TTB audio engineer Bobby Tis recorded, mixed and mastered the audio for the series.

Proceeds from “Fireside Sessions” will go towards the band and its crew. Each episode is available for purchase individually with discounted bundles also up for sale as well as audio.
