Tedeschi Trucks Band shared pro-shot video featuring their “Bound For Glory” encore from a November 2021 concert. Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi led their group through the song to close out the night at Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga, Tennessee on November 18, 2021.
The 12-piece band started the concert in Chattanooga with a near-complete performance of their Let Me Get By studio album. Susan, Derek and their bandmates played nine of the 2016 LP’s 10 tracks.
“Bound For Glory” was among the initial originals played live by Tedeschi Trucks Band upon the group’s formation. TTB recorded the song co-written by Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and Mike Mattison for their debut studio album, 2011’s Revelator. “Bound For Glory” has been played more than any other song by the band besides “Midnight In Harlem” as per Setlist.FM.
The Chattanooga “Bound For Glory” encore features a stellar slide solo from Derek before vocalist Alecia Chakour has a turn in the spotlight towards its triumphant conclusion. See the TTB’s “Bound For Glory” from November 18, 2021 below:
