Tame Impala had a big night on Wednesday at the ARIA Awards, the Australian version of the Grammys. Not only did the project led by Kevin Parker take home awards for five of the seven categories they were nominated for, but Tame Impala also performed “On Track” as part of the audience-less ceremony.
“On Track” appears on Tame Impala’s 2020 album, The Slow Rush. The project’s fourth studio LP won ARIA awards for Album Of The Year and Best Rock Album. Additionally, Tame Impala was named Best Group with Parker scoring Producer Of The Year and Engineer Of The Year awards for his work on The Slow Rush.

Kevin Parker was backed by a full band for the nearly five-minute rendition of “On Track” that aired during the ARIA Awards telecast. The ensemble featured Jay Watson, Dominic Simper and Julien Barbagallo as well as Nick Allbrook, a former touring member who left the fold in 2013 to focus on projects such as Pond.
