Suwannee Hulaween Announces Initial Lineup For 2016 Festival

The fourth annual Suwannee Hulaween will take place over the Halloween weekend, October 28 – 30, at the Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. Today, festival organizers Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions have announced the first round of artists that will join hosts The String Cheese Incident at this year’s Hulaween.

Louisville rockers My Morning Jacket, Grammy nominated British dance act Disclosure (DJ Set), hip-hop poet Logic, Chicago sextet Umphrey’s McGee, livetronica pioneers STS9, Colorado’s live funk/electronic duo Big Gigantic featuring The Motet and Southern California reggae outfit Rebelution are among the Hulaween ’16 acts revealed today. Other acts set to play the festival include The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Gramatik, Greensky Bluegrass, Lettuce, Boys Noize and Anderson .Paak with his live band The Free Nationals.

Many of the acts announced today including My Morning Jacket, Disclosure, Logic, Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Boys Noize, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Bob Moses and Slow Magic will make their Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park debuts this October. The String Cheese Incident will play all three nights of the festival for a total of seven sets including their traditional Halloween set featuring several cover debuts, costumes and other surprises.

Ticket sales will be limited to 20,000 weekend passes to “ensure an elevated fan experience from the moment of arrival” in lieu of record attendance last year. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 29 at noon ET. An EZ-Pay Payment Plan will be available as will a limited number of Ultimate Incident VIP Packages. Event organizers have also announced the return of an expanded Spirit Lake – an experiential artistic glowing menagerie of multimedia metalwork, paintings, sculptures, light projections and live performances that morphs the prehistoric-looking forest into a vivid dream-like space. Suwannee Hulaween will also feature theme nights, yoga, workshops, and endless interactive surprises throughout the weekend.
