Sturgill Simpson Announces Fall 2019 Club Dates

Sturgill Simpson will celebrate the release of his upcoming studio album and anime film with a series of six intimate club dates. Simpson will issue Sound & Fury this Friday, September 27 — two days before the run of club shows begins. Proceeds from all six concerts will benefit the Special Forces Foundation.

The 41-year-old musician will play the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California on September 29. From there, Simpson heads to Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California on October 1 and The Independent in San Francisco on October 2. It’s then off to the East Coast for shows in Brooklyn on October 6, Washington D.C. on October 7 and Asbury Park on October 8.

Tickets for each of the concerts go up for grabs on Wednesday, September 25 at 10 a.m. local time. The Special Forces Foundation, a nonprofit organization, gives support of both Special Forces soldiers and their families.
