STUMP Tour DVDs And Blu-Rays Released

Last summer JamBase favorites STS9 and Umphrey’s McGee teamed up for a “STUMP Tour” at a number of venues. The jam acts have just announced the release of DVDs & Blu-Rays of both bands’ performances in Chicago and Alpharetta from the highly regarded tour.

The Chicago show took place at FirstMerit Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island on August 17 and roared to a finish with STS9 & UM teaming up on a cover of “Let’s Dance” by David Bowie. On August 24 the two acts played Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park in Alpharetta, GA and saw huge sets from both bands including members of UM sitting in with STS9 on a cover of Blondie’s “Heart Of Glass.”

These DVD/Blu-Rays are expected to ship the week of December 2. STUMP Chicago and STUMP Alpharetta each cost $24.99, with both UM performances available by themselves for $24.99 as the Double The Umph package.
