As reported, Colorado jam act The String Cheese Incident will release a new studio album this spring. Today, SCI has confirmed Believe will be issued on April 14 via SCI Fidelity.

The album is the first to come out of SCI’s just-opened Sound Lab Studio and like their previous release, 2014’s Song In My Head, was produced by Talking Heads founding keyboardist Jerry Harrison. Believe features nine, brand-new, original tunes, most of which were the product of a fruitful week-long songwriting retreat in Sedona, Arizona back in 2015.

The String Cheese Incident launched a Pledge Music campaign in support of Believe which entitles those who pre-order the LP to exclusive bonus content and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the record, as well as limited edition items and VIP experiences. “Sweet Spot,” “Get Tight,” “Down A River,” “Flying,” “Beautiful” and “My One And Only” are among the songs featured on Believe.
