As reported, Colorado jam act The String Cheese Incident will release a new studio album this spring. Today, SCI has confirmed Believe will be issued on April 14 via SCI Fidelity.

The album is the first to come out of SCI’s just-opened Sound Lab Studio and like their previous release, 2014’s Song In My Head, was produced by Talking Heads founding keyboardist Jerry Harrison. Believe features nine, brand-new, original tunes, most of which were the product of a fruitful week-long songwriting retreat in Sedona, Arizona back in 2015.

The String Cheese Incident launched a Pledge Music campaign in support of Believe which entitles those who pre-order the LP to exclusive bonus content and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the record, as well as limited edition items and VIP experiences. “Sweet Spot,” “Get Tight,” “Down A River,” “Flying,” “Beautiful” and “My One And Only” are among the songs featured on Believe. Listen to “My One And Only” which finds the group joined by Bonnie Paine of Elephant Revival on vocals:
