The String Cheese Incident will air video of their July 31, 2010 concert at Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, Oregon as this week’s Friday Night Cheese broadcast. Friday Night Cheese premieres this Friday, July 31 — 10 years to the day of the original show — at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar powered by nugs.net.

SCI’s July 31, 2010 performance featured a guest appearance from guitarist Bill Frisell. The show was the second night of a three-night stand at the beloved venue.

This week on Friday Night Cheese, we celebrate the 10 year Anniversary of our Saturday Night Horning’s Hideout Extravaganza from 7/31/2010! More than just a concert or festival, the Horning’s experience was always a 4-day adventure, a musical summer camp that was beloved by artists and fans alike. Once inside the wooded confines of the “Hideout,” our SCI family celebrated love & life in a way that most people outside our world can’t possibly understand.

Traditionally, Saturday night at Horning’s includes the big “Shebang” – a cross between music, performance art, theatre, and spectacle. While we still perform/experience the “Shebang” at Electric Forest, Hulaween, and New Years, it all started at Horning’s! The 2010 Saturday Night Shebang was one to remember, and we’re looking forward to revisiting it with you this week!
