The String Cheese Incident shared a studio version of “Boo Boo’s Pik-A-Nik” the band recorded in their Sound Lab facility. SCI debuted the song live in 2003 and promised more “fresh takes on old classics” are coming.

“Many years ago, this song was originally written as a response to Ross Martin’s (The Motet) song ‘Yogi’s Day Out,'” noted Cheese keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth. “Recently our friend Greg Koch swung by the Lab to rip a guitar solo on ‘Boo Boo’s,’ and I played the head on organ instead of piano, which definitely brings a different vibe to the song. You can look forward to more new Lab takes on unrecorded SCI classics in the future!”
