As we reported Led Zeppelin will re-issue deluxe editions of their final three studio albums packed with previously unreleased material on July 31. Today, Rolling Stone has premiered a previously unreleased outtake that will be included with the deluxe edition of Coda.

This new, less fleshed-out version of “When The Levee Breaks” features Robert Plant singing a different vocal line, drummer John Bonham focusing less on his bass drum than the standard take and has a few other differences from the track we’ve come to know over the past 40 years. Take a listen:

The Coda reissue’s companion disc features outtakes from throughout Led Zeppelin’s legendary career. In addition to Coda, Led Zeppelin will also issue In Through The Out Door and Presence on the 31st.
