‘Stranger Things’ Actors Perform Motown Hits On ‘The Late Late Show’

Host James Corden welcomed four of the stars of the Netflix original series Stranger Things to The Late Late Show last night. Actors Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Noah Schnapp appeared with the host in a skit and performed as a fictional Motown cover band called The Upside Downs.
Presented as a faux Behind The Music feature in which Corden was a former schoolmate of the actors — he’d been held back but was in the same class — the skit portrays the rise of made up Motown tribute group The Upside Downs. The pre-taped footage was followed by a cut to a live “reunion” by the group, during which the four actors and Corden performed a medley made up of The Jackson 5’s “I Want You Back,” The Temptations’ “My Girl” and The Four Tops’ “Reach Out (I’ll Be There).”
