Strand of Oaks (Timothy Showalter) canceled the band’s headlining tour dates for Fall 2021. The decision was made due to “the current state of affairs.”

Strand Of Oaks was set to embark on a tour in support of the new studio album coming out on October 1, In Heaven. The tour was to begin on October 11 in Boston and continue through a performance on November 21 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Strand Of Oaks is still set to support Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit for a run of shows that begins on November 30 in St. Louis.

Read Showalter’s note regarding the Strand Of Oaks headlining tour cancellation below:

Given the current state of affairs, we’ve made the extremely difficult decision to cancel our headline tour this fall.

We look forward to seeing everyone next year. Refunds will be available to ticket buyers at the point of purchase.

This is one of the toughest decisions I’ve made. Touring is my favorite thing in the world. Playing in front of you means more to me than you’ll ever know. I can’t wait to bring these new songs and album to you. I love you all very much, take care of each other and we will be together soon. – Tim
