Watch Sting & Shaggy Deliver Lively ‘Til A Mawnin’ Performance On ‘Fallon’

Iconic musicians Sting and Shaggy served as the musical guests on Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The pair performed their new collaborative single, “Til A Mawin” at 30 Rock.

“Til A Mawin” arrived with an accompanying video last month after the duo last collaborated on the Grammy-winning 2018 album, 44/876. Sting and Shaggy co-wrote the song with Henry “Junjo” Lawes. The latter produced the Roots Radics Band’s original recording of “I’m Not Getting Crazy.”

Sting and Shaggy were accompanied by a drummer, bassist and three backing vocalists for “Till A Mawnin,” which celebrates Sound System culture. Both performers traded lead vocal duties during the breezy performance.

Jimmy Fallon enlisted Sting and Shaggy to contribute to his monologue. The duo each sang lyrics from some of their beloved hits in response to Fallon’s queries regarding President Donald Trump’s financial policies. The host brought up Elon Musk at one point before Sting sang the “He’s an alien, he’s a legal alien” lyric from his solo classic “Englishman In New York.”
