Steve Gunn Shares ‘Vagabond’ Video & Announces Spring Tour 2019

Guitarist Steve Gunn is gearing up for the release of a studio album entitled The Unseen In Between via Matador Records on January 18. Gunn today shared “Vagabond” from the LP and its accompanying video. He also announced a run of spring full-band headlining dates.

Steve Gunn recruited Meg Baird to provide harmonies on “Vagabond,” a song said to be “a meditation on our restless times, an ode to the runaways, drifters and vagabonds trying to make ends meet.” Jason Evans directed the “Vagabond” video. Gunn named the track after his favorite Agnes Varda film. Check out the video for “Vagabond” below:

The U.S. portion of Steve Gunn’s spring tour begins at Cactus Club in Milwaukee on April 18. From there, Gunn and his band will play Chicago, Galien (Michigan), St. Louis, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Austin, Birmingham, Athens, Atlanta, Nashville, Asheville, Carrboro (North Carolina), Charlotte, Richmond and Washington D.C.
